Job Description:
Finance Administrator£13.13 per hour | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm | 37.5 hours per week
One week in the office required for IT equipment collection and training
Fully remote role with occasional local travel
Are you an organised and detail-focused finance professional looking for a fully remote role? We’re recruiting a Finance Administrator to support a busy Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and suppliers are paid on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with financial systems, and delivering great service to internal teams and external suppliers.
What you’ll be doing*Processing supplier invoices across internal financial systems
*Matching invoices to delivery notes and checking coding accuracy
*Reconciling supplier statements and requesting missing documentation
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and request credit notes when needed
*Supporting the administration of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and submitting monthly returns
*Maintaining accurate supplier information and performing audit checks
*Contributing to process improvements, procedure updates, and system developments
*Ensuring compliance with internal policies, data protection, and financial controls
*Undertaking occasional local travel when required
What we’re looking for*Knowledge of purchase ledger or accounts payable processes
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
*Confident communicating with suppliers and colleagues in a busy, fast-paced environment
*Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Excel/Word
*Ability to plan and manage workload, working both independently and as part of a team
*A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving
*Willingness to embrace change and contribute to improvements
*Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Qualifications*GCSEs (Maths & English Grade C/4 or above)
*NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration or equivalent experience
Additional information*This role is fully remote, but you will be required to spend one week in the office for IT equipment collection and initial training.
*You’ll be joining a supportive team with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
*Occasional local travel may be required.
