Part-Time - Compliance Administrator
Basildon, Essex
Up to £30,000 (DOE) Pro Rata + Bonus
Adore Recruitment are working in partnership with a reputable principal contractor operating across commercial construction and refurbishment projects to recruit a Part-Time Document Controller & Compliance Administrator on a part-time basis
This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in construction who understands the importance of accurate documentation, site compliance, and maintaining industry accreditations.
The RoleWorking closely with Contracts Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors, you will take ownership of document control, compliance, and accreditation processes across multiple live construction projects.
Document Control
*Manage and control all construction documentation including drawings, RAMS, and site files
*Maintain strict version control and document tracking systems
*Issue and distribute up-to-date documents to site teams and stakeholders
*Ensure all project documentation is accurate, compliant, and audit-ready
Compliance & Health & Safety
*Maintain Health & Safety documentation in line with construction standards
*Ensure subcontractor compliance documentation is complete prior to site attendance
*Liaise with contractors and clients to obtain required compliance documents
*Support internal and external audits
Accreditations & Pre-Qualification (Key Focus)
*Manage and maintain construction accreditations such as Constructionline
*Support and update SSIP schemes (e.g. CHAS, SafeContractor)
*Ensure all accreditation documentation is current, accurate, and submitted on time
*Assist with pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tender compliance documentation
*Maintain records required for ongoing compliance with industry standards
Training & Competency
*Maintain the company training matrix
*Track CSCS cards, certifications, and expiry dates
*Coordinate training and refresher courses
Administration & Project Support
*Provide admin support to Contracts Managers and site teams
*Prepare site documentation packs
*Maintain company policies and procedures
*Support audits and ensure documentation aligns with company and regulatory requirements
About You*Previous experience in a document Controller, construction admin, or compliance role
*Strong understanding of construction documentation (drawings, RAMS, compliance records)
*Experience managing or supporting construction accreditations (Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor etc.)
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Confident using Adobe, Excel, and document management systems
*Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
