Job Description:
Housing Options Officer needed in Nottingham Paying £17.26 per hr ref OR26734
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities*Provide housing options advice and homelessness prevention support
*Assess applications under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended)
*Complete homelessness assessments and develop Personalised Housing Plans
*Explore and negotiate accommodation solutions, including private rented options
*Liaise with landlords and external partners to prevent homelessness
*Make and record lawful, well-evidenced decisions in line with legislation and guidance
*Maintain accurate case records and issue statutory correspondence
*Manage a caseload of prevention and relief cases within agreed timescales
