Hospitality & Events Manager – London – Independent education - £38,000 - £42,000
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Hospitality & Events Manager to lead and develop events and hospitality operations within a busy independent school environment.
This is a unique opportunity to build systems and standards from the ground up while delivering high-quality hospitality across daily operations, commercial events, and large-scale functions of up to 400 guests.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee all events and hospitality services, including meetings, café, bar, and large events
*Plan and deliver events, ensuring excellent service and smooth operations
*Develop SOPs, processes, and service standards from scratch
*Manage and lead hospitality staff, including training and rotas
*Monitor stock, budgets, and POS systems to drive efficiency and profitability
*Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
About You
*Proven experience in events and hospitality management
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*Hands-on, proactive, and solution-focused
*Confident managing high-volume operations and large events
*Flexible and able to work evenings and weekends
