Are you looking to begin or develop your career in education? We’re recruiting Secondary Teaching Assistants to support a range of Oldham secondary schools and academies from September – with opportunities to start sooner for those available.
This role is perfect for experienced secondary TAs, recent graduates, or individuals considering a future in teaching who want hands-on classroom experience across KS3 and KS4.
The RoleAs a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils across a variety of subjects, helping teachers deliver engaging lessons, and providing targeted support to students who need additional help. Roles vary from general classroom support to 1:1 interventions, small group work, and department-based roles such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, and more.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
