Production Line Technician
*Industry: FMCG Food Manufacturing and Production
*Permanent position, Full-Time
*Salary: £33,360 PA
*12 hours shifts - 4 on/4 off
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Line Technician to join this global FMCG food manufacturer in materials/ingredients production sector.
As a Production Line Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production lines, helping to maintain their high standards of quality and sustainability along with technical faults.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure optimal performance.
*First responder to fault finding and if production stops
*Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any line-related issues to minimise downtime.
*Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
*Collaborate with the production team to enhance efficiency and production quality.
*Document and maintain accurate records of line operations and adjustments.
*Participate in continuous improvement activities to drive operational excellence.
*Support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
*Proven experience in a similar line technician or maintenance role within a FMCG OR high-speed manufacturing environment.
*Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
*Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a production setting.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
*Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
