About the Role:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and occasionally Key Stage 5), ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of permanent staff. Assignments can range from daily cover to longer-term placements, depending on your availability and preferences.
You will be expected to quickly establish a positive classroom presence, manage behaviour effectively, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.


Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective lessons across your subject specialism or general cover
*Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities available)
*Follow school lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are achieved
*Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school policies
*Adapt to different classroom settings, student abilities, and school expectations
*Provide feedback to departments where required
*Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

Who We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
*Strong behaviour management and classroom control
*Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Willingness to travel across Tameside
