Marketing Executive – Own-Brand Retail & Wholesale
£30,000 + Benefits
Location: Burnley – HYBRID WORKING
Our client is a fast-growing wholesale and retail business, looking for a Marketing Executive to join their dynamic marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised marketer to take ownership of in-branch marketing, POS, and own-brand campaigns across multiple locations.
Where does this role fit in?
• You will be at the heart of the marketing function, delivering high-quality physical and digital assets that elevate the customer experience and drive sales.
• Working closely with Sales, Supply, and Operations teams, you will manage campaigns, POS, presentations, and branch marketing initiatives.
• This role will allow you to develop and execute marketing materials from concept to print or digital delivery, ensuring brand consistency and maximum impact.
• With a passion for design, copywriting, and multi-channel marketing, you will help bring our own-brand products and campaigns to life across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
POS and In-Branch Marketing Management
• Design and Production: Lead the creation, ordering, and distribution of POS materials for all 8 branches, including shelf talkers, posters, and counter displays.
• Asset Creation: Produce print-ready marketing assets using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Supplier Liaison: Manage external print suppliers, negotiate costs, and ensure quality control and deadlines are met.
Own-Brand Product Marketing Campaigns
• Campaign Execution: Plan and execute marketing campaigns highlighting product value and driving in-store engagement.
• Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for POS, sell decks, and internal communications.
• Photography/Assets: Support creation of lifestyle product photography and visual content for print and web.
Sales Support & Collateral
• Sell Decks: Develop and maintain engaging presentation materials for the sales team, showcasing products and collections.
• Brochures & Catalogues: Manage content, layout, and production of product brochures and mini-catalogues.
Multi-Branch & Local Marketing
• Create and implement localized marketing toolkits for each branch to drive footfall.
• Coordinate trade days and in-branch events with top-quality signage and promotional materials.
• Visit branches to capture content and highlight staff and products.
Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor and report on campaign and promotion performance.
• Track web traffic and conversion using Google Analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
What will you need?
• 2+ years’ experience in Marketing or Sales Support, ideally within retail, wholesale, or FMCG.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Experience producing physical marketing materials and managing print production.
• Strong project management skills with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for design and detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
