We are recruiting a Head Receptionist for a well-regarded hotel near Basingstoke, offering a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your Front Office career. This role in Basingstoke is ideal for a confident Reception Supervisor ready to progress, or an experienced Head Receptionist looking to develop within a supportive and professional team.

Working in a quality-driven environment near Basingstoke, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the Reception Manager and leading a small, dedicated team.
Please note, the hotel is set in a rural location, so access to your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As Head Receptionist, you’ll support the smooth running of the front desk and guest experience:
*Deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure outstanding guest service
*Handle enquiries, requests and complaints efficiently and to a high standard
*Train, motivate and develop the reception team
*Assist with rota planning, task allocation and team performance
*Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
*Ensure all front office procedures and standards are followed


What we’re looking for:
To succeed as Head Receptionist, you’ll bring the following:
*Previous experience as a Head Receptionist or Reception Supervisor
*A positive, solutions-focused approach to challenges
*Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
*A flexible, hands-on attitude in a busy hotel environment
*A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service
*Ability to work a mixture of early and late shifts (40 hours per week)
