Job Description:
Are you looking to progress your accountancy career?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Manager to join a growing, modern, forward-thinking firm of Accountants based in Wetherby.
As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients and acting as a trusted advisor
*Preparing financial statements and management accounts in line with relevant standards
*Building strong, long-term client relationships and providing proactive financial insights
*Supporting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting tools (especially Xero)
*Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members
*Identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial processes and adding real value
To qualify for this Client Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:
*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
*Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
*Solid understanding of professional regulations and best practice
