Site Agent – Highways Project
North Somerset
18-month contract
Freelance / Contract Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project in North Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role on a long-term scheme with approximately 18 months of secured work.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing day-to-day site operations on a highways project
*Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
*Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders
*Maintaining programme performance and quality standards
*Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and site documentation
*Liaising with the client, engineers, and project management team
Requirements:
*Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or civil engineering schemes
*Strong knowledge of highways specifications and standards
*SMSTS certification
*CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
*Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)
*Full UK driving licence
