Job Description:
HR Advisor (Temporary)
Location: Cambridgeshire (minimum 2 days per week office-based)
Contract: Temporary until 31 October 2026
Pay: £19 per hour (depending on experience)
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to work within a business partnering model, providing professional advice and challenge to front line managers across a wide range of employment matters.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide high quality HR advice and guidance on employee relations, employment law, and HR policy, presenting clear options and associated risks to support business led decision making.
*Support and coach managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, ill health, redundancy, and change management cases, working closely with trade unions to maintain positive employee relations.
*Support organisational change initiatives including restructures and TUPE transfers.
*Ensure HR systems and data are accurate, up to date, and used to identify trends and risks.
*Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and the delivery of HR training.
*Support pay and reward activities, including job evaluation processes.
*Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across all employment practices.
About You
*Strong experience in an HR advisory role with solid employee relations expertise.
*Confident in coaching and influencing managers.
*Sound knowledge of employment legislation.
*CIPD Level 5 qualification (desirable).
