Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days from home)

The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing and well-established financial planning firm based in London.
This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring the firm remains compliant and commercially effective. You will act as the link between senior leadership and operational delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Operations
*Reconcile business income within the CRM
*Support production of management and company accounts
*Oversee monthly payroll and P11D processes
*Manage introducer payments and bank reconciliations
*Oversee third-party systems and technology
Compliance & Regulation
*Submit regulatory returns
*Maintain FCA and Appointed Representative compliance
*Manage CPD and Chartered status renewals
*Oversee T&C scheme and file reviews
*Liaise with compliance consultants
*Produce and maintain management information
Leadership & People Management
*Chair Investment and Proposition Committees
*Conduct adviser 1:1 meetings
*Support recruitment, annual reviews, and HR processes
*Manage staff incentives and engagement
Business Management
*Support business planning and board meetings
*Oversee IT security and infrastructure
*Manage third-party relationships
*Support marketing initiatives
About You*Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Operations or Senior Administration role within a regulated environment (ideally financial planning or wealth management)
*Proven experience managing teams within a small to medium-sized business
*Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Strong systems skills, including advanced Excel and CRM usage
Desirable:
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
*Prince2 or project management qualification
*Accounting qualification
