Temporary holiday cover (cover from Monday 20th April for 1 week )

Seeking a friendly, experienced Receptionist to provide front-of-house cover during a holiday period. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone calls, and handling a variety of general administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operation of a busy Office.
Working within a Housing orgionational covering holiday cover.
Key Responsibilities
*Welcome and greet external customers, tenants, contractors, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
*Manage incoming calls, answer queries, take messages, and route calls appropriately — demonstrating a good telephone manner
*Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services
*Complete general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, scanning, and photocopying
*Support office operations such as maintaining reception area tidiness and ensuring a welcoming environment
*Liaise with internal teams to coordinate meeting room bookings or other front-of-house needs
*Assist with ad hoc tasks as required
Person Specification / Requirements
*Previous receptionist or front-of-house office experience is required
*Strong administrative experience, including handling post and basic clerical duties
*Excellent telephone manner,
*Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — able to present a professional and welcoming
*Organised, with good attention to detail
*IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Outlook) and comfortable using office equipment
