Academics Supply Agency covering Leeds and Wakefield are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a range of welcoming and supportive primary school across these areas.
This is fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long - term placement.
As an HLTA, you will be expected to cover classes in the absence of a teacher, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with school staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and on track.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver pre - planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
*Lead whole-class sessions when required
*provide targeted support to small groups and individuals
*Support classroom behaviour management
*Assist with tracking pupil progress
Requirements
*HLTA qual or equivalent exp
*Prev exp covering classes
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update service
