As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support a pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development. You will provide tailored support to help the pupil engage with learning, develop independence, and feel supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:*Provide one-to-one support to a pupil during lessons and activities.

*Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation.

*Adapt activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.

*Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.

*Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents.

*Ensure safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being are prioritised at all times.

Requirements:*Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

*A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.

*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

*Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team.

*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
