Purchase Ledger Assistant
*Annual Salary: Up to £28,000pa
*Location: Outskirts of Maidstone
*Job Type: Full-time
*Working Arrangements: Office Based - valid driving or motorcycle licence and access to your own transport essential
We are seeking a confident and experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client’s finance team. This role is based at their head office, nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside and offers a friendly and well-equipped working environment. You will report directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager and play a crucial role in our purchase ledger function.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Day-to-day processing for our purchase ledger function.
*Responsible for updating our purchase order systems.
*Conducting supplier reconciliations.
*Liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
*Setting up payment runs to maintain financial efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role or similar.
*Familiarity with Sage 200 is advantageous but not essential.
*Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
*High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
