Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with an extremely inclusive and supportive single-form entry primary school in Ellesmere Port as they require an experience teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. This position is based within a mixed nursery and reception class and will last the remainder of the academic year.
Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this school you will be working in partnership with a supportive and experience EYFS class teacher. The class you will be working in has a high level of SEN, all of whom are extremely loving but do require specific support. To ensure that the attainment, development and academic needs of all pupils are met you will implement a pupil-led curriculum method with duties that will include:
*Guided reading and writing
*Phonics sessions/assessments using RWI
*Assisting with personal/intimate care
*1:1 SEN supporting including ASD and delay
What you need to succeed
*Full "Right to Work" in the UK
*Relevant referenceable experience within a reception class or nursery school
*Be at least NVQ Level 2 Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualified
*Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
