Academics is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support to a KS2 child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), starting after the Easter holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to a child’s education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD in a KS2 classroom
*Assist with learning, communication, and social skills development
*Support inclusion and help the child access the full curriculum
*Work closely with teachers and parents to implement individual learning plans
*Monitor and report on progress, challenges, and achievements
What we’re looking for:
*Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children in the UK
*Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
*2 years’ worth of references
*Experience supporting children with ASD is highly desirable
*Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
