The RoleAs an Audit Senior - Practice, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners while mentoring more junior team members. This is a hands-on position offering exposure to complex client work and real responsibility.
What you’ll be doing*Leading audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork and completion
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK regulations
*Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
*Reviewing the work of junior staff, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met
*Identifying and resolving technical audit and accounting issues
*Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior auditors
*Collaborating with wider teams across the accountancy function
What we’re looking for*ACA or ACCA qualified
*Strong experience within a UK audit environment
*Proven ability to manage audits and meet deadlines effectively
*Confident communicator with client-facing experience
*Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
*A proactive and solutions-focused approach
