Salary
*PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £39,500 to £45,300 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
*WCA Assessor (5–6 shorter assessments per day): £42,000 to 48,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
*Up to 10% quality and performance bonus
*Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
Hours
*Full-time (WCA/PIP)
*Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
*Part-time (PIP Only)
*0.6 FTE (3 days)
*0.8 FTE (4 days)
*Can work any day of the week.

What You’ll Do
*Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
*Review medical evidence and daily living impact
*Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
*Make objective recommendations based on evidence
*This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
*12-week paid training covering:
*Assessment techniques
*DWP guidelines
*Report writing
*You will be fully supported before working independently.
Who We’re Looking For
*Registered Adult Nurses (NMC)
*Occupational Therapists (HCPC)
*Physiotherapists (HCPC)
*Paramedics (HCPC)
*Pharmacists (GPhC)
Qualifications:
*Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
*At least 1-year active registration
*Strong communication and report writing skills
*Confident IT and typing skills
*Sponsorship is not available.
