Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting for a motivated Engineering Operative to join a well-established engineering business working with heavy-duty steel and large-scale machinery.

Your Role as an Engineering OperativeAs an Engineering Operative, you will support machining operations and work with heavy steel components, developing your skills in a busy engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities*Assisting with and operating heavy gantry milling machines
*Using overhead cranes to move large steel components
*Supporting machining and fabrication processes
*Reading basic engineering drawings
*Using measuring tools such as micrometres and verniers
*Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
*Following all health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For*Basic understanding of engineering or machining principles
*Engineering qualification or apprenticeship (preferred)
*Experience using micrometres and verniers (advantageous)
*Keen interest in engineering and manufacturing
*Willingness to learn and develop skills
*Reliable and hardworking attitude
Working Hours*Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
*Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (every other week)
