Job Description:
We are a small and well established childcare setting currently based in Mortlake, London.
You will work alongside three members of staff, caring for 12 children each day, aged between 1 and 3 years of age.
*You must be available to work 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday between the hours of 8am -6pm.
*we can offer a full time position for the right person.
*You must be reliable and punctual.
*Full training provided
*DBS- Essential and on the update service.
*Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) Desirable
*Safeguarding Level 2 and 3 - Desirable.
*Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) is highly Desirable.
*3 years Experience working with children aged between 0-11 Desirable.
*Understanding or Experience with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is Desirable.
*Initiative to set up inviting and creative activities/ play opportunities. Based on children’s targets/ age stage of development and interests.
*Keep all areas clean, tidy and after use ensure toys and equipment are stored in designated areas.
*Clean toys/ setting when required.
*Assist owner in keeping children’s paperwork and up to date. Regularly track Children’s development.Assist with Personal care.
*Liaise with parents/carers, assist owner with handovers.
*Happy to play with the children outdoors all weathers.
*Happy to attend outings.
*Have fun, be silly, give cuddles when needed and add ideas.
*Training, professional development and qualification opportunities offered.
*Able to use initiative.
*Make independent decisions.
