Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Bolton
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Pay Rate: £106 - £110 per day
We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bolton area who are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable HLTA to join their supportive team.
About the Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons, lead small groups, and provide targeted support for pupils, including those with special educational needs such as autism, complex learning difficulties, and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
*Assist in implementing individual education and behaviour plans.
*Encourage independence and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
*Support pupils with sensory, physical, and communication needs.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes.
*Personal care may be required.
About You
*Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
*Confident leading lessons and managing a classroom.
*HLTA status or relevant Level 3 qualification (essential)
