ALF Recruit are partnering with a growing, well-established business with operations across the UK and Europe to appoint a Group Accountant into their expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant looking to step into a broader, more commercially focused role within a dynamic and supportive environment. The position offers exposure across group-level reporting, international operations, and strategic finance activities—ideal for someone keen to accelerate their progression.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function across multiple entities, working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to accurate reporting, compliance, and business insight.

Key Responsibilities
*Supporting group month-end close and consolidation processes
*Preparation and review of management accounts across multiple entities
*Fixed asset accounting and reporting
*Group-wide foreign currency reconciliations
*Balance sheet reconciliations including debtors, creditors, and stock
*Profit & Loss analysis, margin reporting, and variance analysis
*Cashflow reporting and bank reconciliations
*VAT reporting and compliance across jurisdictions
*Assisting with year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
*Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
*Providing financial insight to support business decision-making
About You
*Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA / CIMA
*Proven experience in a financial or management accounting role
*Strong technical accounting knowledge with a keen eye for detail
*Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
*Ability to work across multiple entities or currencies (desirable)
*Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
*Proactive mindset with a commercial and analytical approach
*Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
