What You’ll Be Doing
Become a vital part of specialist SEND/SEMH schools across East Manchester, supporting students with a range of needs, including:
*Autism, sensory needs & communication challenges
*PMLD and complex medical needs
*SEMH and behavioural support
*Mental health and wellbeing
You’ll have access to:
Classroom & learning support roles
Day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements
Opportunities to experience a variety of schools
A pathway to grow your SEND expertise
We’re Looking For People Who Have:
*Experience supporting young people in UK schools or care settings
*Full-time availability (Mon–Fri, 08:30–15:30)
*Confidence supporting challenging behaviour
*Experience with SEN (autism, communication needs, complex profiles)
*A proactive, positive attitude and genuine passion for helping young people
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
