A forward-thinking and diverse secondary school in Newham is looking to appoint a driven Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students and staff within a busy Maths department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in education while making a genuine difference to students’ academic progress.


Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential exposure to KS5)
Working with students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to reinforce learning
Assisting teachers with planning resources and lesson delivery
Helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills in Maths
Supporting pupils with different learning needs and abilities
Contributing to a positive and focused classroom environment


Candidate Profile:
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (2:2 or above)
An interest in progressing into teaching or a career in education
Strong numeracy and clear communication skills
A motivated, patient, and adaptable approach
Any prior experience with young people is advantageous but not essential
