Job Description:
Marketing Assistant opportunity for our leading legal client working from their Ipswich office with occasional visits to their offices in Colchester and London. This Marketing Assistant role is a practical, creative role suited to someone who enjoys producing content, staying organised and contributing ideas within a collaborative team environment. The Role
*Support the marketing team with the consistent creation and scheduling of digital content
*Helping to promote the firm’s services, community involvement and local presence.
*Scheduling and publishing three posts per day across the firm’s social media channels
*Creating short-form video content including daily TikToks and YouTube Shorts
*Designing social media graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
*Maintain communication with local charities and organisations supported by the firm
*Writing blogs relating to the firm’s legal service
*Researching local news and events that connect to the firm’s office
*Monitoring legal developments relevant to the services they provide
*Support senior management with podcast production
*Assist with general marketing activities while contributing practical ideas for campaigns and content.
*Office hours are 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with flexible working options available from 8:00 to 16:00, 9:00 to 17:00, or 10:00 to 18:00. This constitutes a 37.5-hour working week.
The Person
*Must possess previous working in a marketing role
*Creative, organised and comfortable producing visual content using tools such as Canva.
*Must possess and have experience in social media and digital content
*Confident creating simple video and graphic materials
*Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team with a positive, proactive attitude.
*Must be able to demonstrate creative ability and basic graphic design capability.
*Able to travel to other office locations in London and Colchester
