Description
The Interim Legal Counsel will be:
*Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
*Advising on a range of research agreements and collaborations
*Supporting key stakeholders across academic and professional services teams
*Providing pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice
*Managing contractual risk and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
*Assisting with ad hoc legal matters as they arise
*Working closely with the wider legal and procurement teams
Profile
The Interim Legal Counsel should be:
*A solicitor or equivalent with relevant PQE
*Experienced in higher education legal work
*Strong in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
*Familiar with research agreements and collaboration arrangements
*Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
*Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
