Join Technical Operations Division as a Technician in London!
Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
We’re growing our team and investing in our knowledge base, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join us. If you have solid understanding and experience with the structure and format of slips, cover letters, and invoices, you could be exactly who we’re looking for!

How you’ll make an impact

*Leading the end-to-end activity of all processing.
*Demonstrating a solid grasp of slips, cover notes, and Market Reform Contracts (MRC).
*Applying your technical reinsurance knowledge and understanding of the industry and its regulations.
*Working with the Bureau (Velonetic) on accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols.
*Using XIS systems such as A&S, Insurance Portal, Account Enquiry, and CASA.
*Supporting premium processing activities, including eBot and LORS (advantageous).
*Handling a variety of business types, including Excess of Loss, Treaty, Facultative business, Line Slips, Binding Authorities, and Consortiums.
*Collaborating with the Accounting and Credit Control Team to reconcile and collect premiums, minimising funding and bad debt.
*Work in conjunction with the Compliance and Regulatory Team to ensure trading partners meet sanction and licensing rules.

About You

*Extensive experience in premium processing and technical reinsurance.
*Knowledge of tax and VAT requirements related to premium processing.
*A working understanding of financial aspects of the premium process.
*Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
*Proven skill in problem-solving, prioritising tasks, and bringing up non-routine issues when necessary.
*A positive, tenacious attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
*Eligibility to work in the UK.
