Description
*Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
*Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Manage accounts payable and receivable functions effectively.
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Maintain and update financial data in accounting software.
*Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with regulations.
*Support audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
*Knowledge of financial reporting standards within the property industry is desirable.
