Principal Full Stack Engineer

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal leadership role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade IoT and cloud-based software solutions. Operating within a highly collaborative, agile environment, you will help shape the architecture of a global multi-cloud, multi-region platform that enables real-time monitoring, automation, and data-driven decision-making for leading global brands.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role suited to a senior engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
• Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale IoT software products and applications
• Provide technical leadership across a growing engineering team
• Contribute to the architecture of a global multi-cloud, multi-region platform
• Influence engineering standards, best practices, and development processes
• Work closely with partner teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Drive innovation through research, proof of concepts, and emerging technology evaluation
• Contribute to modern CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices
• Help shape scalable systems that enable real-time device monitoring and AI-driven insights
Your Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance a suite of cloud-based software products
• Provide architectural input and technical direction across full stack development
• Ensure SDLC processes are followed and continuously improved within a 24/7 cloud environment
• Deliver enterprise-grade non-functional requirements including scalability, reliability, and security
• Partner with technical leadership to support strategic architectural decisions
• Mentor engineers, providing guidance on design patterns and technical implementation
• Conduct research and develop proof-of-concept solutions for new technologies
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern automated testing practices
• Support secure, compliant, and high-performing DevSecOps operations
Key Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), with postgraduate qualifications advantageous
• 5+ years’ significant experience with strong core Java development skills
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture and scalable cloud solutions
• Ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Multi-cloud IoT platforms including AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, and related services
• Multi-threaded applications and core Java frameworks such as Spring
• CI/CD and cloud operations tools including Jenkins, Argo, and Kubernetes
