Overview
A leading investment management firm is seeking an experienced Investor Relations professional to join its London office. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership across investment, fundraising, and operational teams to support capital-raising efforts and strengthen relationships with both existing and prospective investors across institutional and wholesale channels.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys taking ownership of client-facing communications, fundraising processes, and ongoing investor servicing.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Business Development
*Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies across multiple investment vehicles.
*Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
*Assist with prospect pipeline management and tracking engagement activity.
Investor Relationship Management
*Serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to enquiries.
*Manage distribution of regular communications including quarterly updates, performance reports, and fund commentary.
*Contribute to the preparation of due-diligence materials, onboarding documentation, and investor questionnaires.
Marketing & Communications
*Collaborate on the creation and refinement of marketing materials, pitch decks, fund overviews, and thought-leadership content.
*Ensure consistency and compliance across all external-facing materials.
*Support brand-related initiatives and represent the firm at select industry events.
Cross-Functional Coordination
*Work closely with investment, operations, risk, and compliance teams to maintain strong internal alignment.
*Contribute to internal reporting on investor activity, fundraising progress, and market trends.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
*3-7 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, client service, or related roles within asset management, alternatives, or broader financial services.
*Strong understanding of investment concepts and product structures.
*Experience interacting with institutional allocators is highly advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail.
*Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
*Highly organised, proactive, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders and sophisticated investors.
*Strong PowerPoint and Excel capabilities.
