Team
Working in a team of 4 people on the Reorg side of Corporate Actions with some cross over into the Income area when required.
Role
This role within the team will give the potential candidate exposure to all areas of the Reorg team however fixed income processing will be the focus specifically on Credit Repo and Distressed Debt Restructuring events. Equity market event processing and some income duties will also be part of the role. This would be a great opportunity for the person who has good experience of Fixed Income processing coupled with the appetite to learn new functions and markets within a Reorg team.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities are:
*Extensive experience of working in an Asset servicing environment.
*Excellent market knowledge of corporate event processing of Fixed Income products.
*Knowledge of Distressed Debt / Restructuring events an advantage
*Disclosure and proxy voting knowledge an advantage
*Good communication skills as the role will require contact with clients, agents, and traders.
*Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope within a pressurized environment.
*Attention to detail
*Escalate any issues to management when required
*Be involved in improving the team, identifying gaps in control or issues in processing
*Work with project team to improve processes.
Person Specification
The following skills and experience are preferred but not essential for this role:
*Easyway system knowledge
*Knowledge of Repo/Lending activity
*Previous Interaction with KROLL/GLAS/Sodali
*SWIFT system knowledge
*Broadridge systems an advantage (Gloss / BPS)
*Good reconciliation Skills
*Previous broker dealer environment experience.
*Working knowledge of CASS rules
