Investigo have partnered with a leading Financial Services firm who are seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management team in London on a 6-month contract.
You’ll sit within the second line of defence, overseeing credit, counterparty, and market risk exposures across EMEA, working closely with Front Office and key stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Monitor and analyse credit and market risk exposures
*Set and manage counterparty credit limits
*Track exposure utilisation, aged trades, and breaches
*Oversee pre-trade controls and real-time risk
*Liaise with clearing firms on trading limits
*Support client reviews and risk reporting
*Partner with Front Office to provide risk oversight and challenge
Requirements
*Experience in financial, credit, or counterparty risk within financial services
*Strong understanding of market risk and exposure management
*Experience in a bank, brokerage, or trading environment
*Knowledge of multi-asset products (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
*Familiarity with EMEA markets
*Strong analytical and communication skills
*Technical skills (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA, or R) are a plus
