Job Description:
Financial Reporting Manager
12 Month FTC
Bristol City Centre
Hybrid. 1-2 days in the office.
We’re looking for an experienced finance leader to manage a high-performing team delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting. You’ll provide insights, ensure compliance, and report to senior stakeholders including the Board, Audit Committee, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, develop, and manage the reporting team, driving performance and engagement
*Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reporting
*Ensure compliance with IFRS 4, HGB, UK GAAP, and Solvency UK/II requirements
*Deliver analysis of results against plan and forecast, addressing key queries
*Maintain strong risk management and control frameworks
*Respond to regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance
*Build effective relationships across Finance, Actuarial, and external stakeholders
*Support capital modelling and related reporting
About You *ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience
*Background in financial services, ideally insurance.
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*In-depth knowledge of regulatory and accounting frameworks
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
*Proactive, detail-focused, and confident challenging the status quo
