About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Keeper to manage the day-to-day operation of our stores and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are accurately controlled, issued, and recorded. You will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly by maintaining stock levels, supporting procurement, and ensuring the store area remains safe, efficient, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
*Receive, check, and record incoming goods, materials, and equipment
*Issue stock accurately to staff, engineers, or project teams as required
*Maintain up-to-date inventory records, ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
*Carry out regular stock checks and support audits
*Monitor stock levels and raise requests for replenishment when needed
*Ensure the stores area remains clean, safe, and compliant with company and H&S policies
*Coordinate deliveries, returns, and the movement of materials
*Identify damaged or faulty goods and liaise with suppliers or procurement as needed
About You
*Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory control role
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident using inventory or ERP systems (training provided where needed)
*Good communication skills and ability to work well with operations or engineering teams
*Physically capable of handling materials and following safe manual-handling practices
*A proactive, dependable approach and pride in maintaining an efficient stores environment
