Role: Head of IT
Location: Droitwich (multi-site / hybrid working)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading multi-academy organisation, is hiring a Head of IT to lead a pivotal phase of digital transformation across a growing and high-performing education group.
This role offers the opportunity to build and shape a modern, scalable IT function that directly supports teaching, learning and operational excellence across multiple sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering a forward-thinking digital strategy aligned to long-term growth and innovation.
With over 5,000 users and a strong track record of performance, the organisation is now investing heavily in digital capability, infrastructure and innovation to support its next stage of growth.
What you’ll do
*Lead and deliver a trust-wide IT and digital strategy
*Ensure secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure and systems
*Oversee cyber security, compliance and digital risk
*Build, lead and develop a high-performing IT team
*Drive innovation and establish a scalable, future-ready service model
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, school leaders and central teams to ensure technology enables outstanding outcomes across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
*Proven leadership of IT / digital services in a complex, multi-site environment
*Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud and end-user computing
*Experience delivering digital strategy and transformation at scale
*Knowledge of cyber security, compliance and risk management
*Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
