Finance Officer
Location: Hereford (Hybrid working available)

Our client is hiring a Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of finance activities while contributing to accurate reporting and strong financial control. Some payroll responsibilities will also be part of the job.
What you’ll do
*Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
*Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
*Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with policies
You’ll work closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders to ensure financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
What we’re looking for
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
*Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
*Good understanding of accounting principles
*Proficiency in Excel and finance systems
*Experience within the education sector is desirable, but not essential
