Legal Cashier
12m FTC | London | 2 days in office per week
My client is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their busy Finance team on a 12-month FTC. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload, thrives under pressure, and wants to be part of a collaborative, high-performing department.
Responsibilities:
*Handling UK and international payments using Elite 3E
*Overseeing the Land Registry suspense account and ensuring accurate recharges
*Managing the shared cashiering inbox and responding to internal queries
*Monitoring incoming client funds and reconciling receipts
*Allocating client account payments to raised bills
*Processing transfers from client to office accounts
*Liaising directly with banking partners
*Managing money market investments and calculating interest where required
*Maintaining daily client account records
About You
*Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
*Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules and Elite 3E
*Solid technical understanding of legal finance processes
*Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
