Building Safety Coordinator
Rendall & Rittner • £25,000 per annum • Hybrid (Home-based with occasional office attendance) • 12 Month FTC
Role Overview
Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking to build a career in building safety and compliance?
Rendall & Rittner are looking for a Building Safety Coordinator to join our Building Safety team, supporting key administrative processes and ensuring we meet our obligations under the Building Safety Act.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll play an important role in supporting compliance activities, tracking critical information and helping to develop new processes within a growing and evolving area of the business.
This role offers excellent exposure to building safety, property management and regulatory compliance, and would suit someone who is proactive, organised and eager to develop their knowledge in this field.
Role Expectations
This role requires someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll take ownership of administrative processes, compliance tracking and information management, ensuring records are accurate, up to date and aligned with regulatory requirements. You’ll also liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, monitor progress and support the delivery of key safety initiatives.
Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll contribute to improving processes and supporting the wider team in meeting building safety requirements.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll be successful in this role if:
*Compliance trackers and records are accurate, up to date and well maintained
*Administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently
*Information is clearly communicated and appropriately recorded
*Stakeholders are supported effectively across building safety activities
*The team is supported in meeting Building Safety Act requirements
How You’ll Spend Most of Your Time
Most weeks, you’ll be:
*Providing administrative support to the Building Safety team
*Managing and updating compliance trackers and internal systems
*Supporting the creation and implementation of new processes
*Monitoring and tracking key building safety information
*Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information
*Ensuring records and documentation are accurate and well maintained
*Supporting communication across the team to ensure clarity and consistency
*Assisting with general coordination of building safety activities

*Has strong administrative experience and can manage multiple priorities
*Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Has strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
*Communicates clearly and builds strong working relationships
*Is proactive and willing to learn about building safety and compliance

Experience That Helps
*Experience managing compliance trackers or administrative systems
*Experience within property management or a related industry
*Understanding of health and safety or building safety legislation (or willingness to learn)
*Experience working with multiple stakeholders
*IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or willingness to undertake)
