This role is ideal for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership position. You will be responsible for overseeing a prestigious commercial site near Liverpool Street, leading a team of 2 engineers while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.
Working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern (7:00am – 7:00pm), you will take ownership of site performance, manage contractors, maintain logbooks, and act as the main point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
*PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) & reactive maintenance
*Electrical fault-finding
*Single & three-phase power systems
*Emergency lighting and fire alarms
*BMS operation
*AHUs & FCUs
*Generators and UPS systems
*VAV/VRF systems
*Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
*Cooling towers
*Pumps and motors
*Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance
*Managing site logbooks and reporting to the client
Requirements:
*City & Guilds Level 3 (Electrical or Mechanical) minimum
*Apprentice trained (desirable)
*Strong building services maintenance experience
*Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
*Excellent client-facing skills
