Bodyshop Manager/VDA required in Eastbourne, East Sussex

Our client, a reputable Vehicle Rental Company Accident Repair Centre with a strong presence in the UK rental market, is seeking a skilled Bodyshop Manager/VDA to join their team in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to take on a managerial role within a well-established operation. The Bodyshop Manager/VDA will oversee the repair process for vehicles less than 6 months old, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties of the Bodyshop Manager/VDA:
*Use of Audatex to generate precise and detailed repair estimates
*Price and prioritise jobs effectively
*Photograph damaged vehicles for accurate records
*Liaise with insurance companies and rental customers to facilitate repairs
*Oversee the quality of work output from the workshop, maintaining company standards
*Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
*Manage workshop diary daily to optimise workflow and productivity
*Lead, motivate, and supervise the workshop team to achieve targets
Requirements for the Bodyshop Manager/VDA position:
*Current Audatex certification is essential
*Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or VDA
*Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Competent in reading and understanding technical documentation
*Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Previous technical experience in accident repair advantageous
*Full UK driving license
