We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join a well-established business based in Burton-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to provide immediate support within a busy finance team. Salary between £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing high volumes of invoices within Accounts Payable
*Matching, batching, and coding invoices accurately
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Managing supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
*Supporting Credit Control activities, including chasing outstanding payments
*Maintaining accurate customer account records
*Assisting with cash allocation and reporting
*General finance administration as required
Requirements:
*Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Credit Control
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*Proficient in Excel and finance systems (experience with ERP systems is advantageous)
