Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join a large, multi-department organisation based in London. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of marketing and communications activity, helping to promote the organisation’s brand, campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities*Support the development and implementation of annual communications and marketing plans aligned to organisational objectives
*Assist senior marketing colleagues with the planning, preparation, delivery and monitoring of marketing campaigns
*Create engaging written and visual content to support marketing and fundraising campaigns
*Update and maintain website content using a content management system, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
*Create and manage webpages relating to events, campaigns and other initiatives
*Support the planning, delivery and monitoring of email marketing campaigns using an email marketing platform
*Upload, manage and maintain marketing materials within the organisation’s digital asset library
*Respond to requests for marketing support from departments across the organisation
*Prepare briefs for external suppliers such as photographers and videographers
*Collect, analyse and report on marketing and digital performance data, producing regular reports for internal stakeholders
*Attend events to provide on-site marketing support, including setting up display materials and providing general assistance
*Ensure marketing activity aligns with internal policies, brand standards and agreed processes
*Work collaboratively across teams to support integrated and effective marketing activity
Ideal Candidate Profile*This is an entry-level role; however, relevant internships, placements or work experience in marketing or communications would be advantageous
*Experience or familiarity with digital and social platforms such as website CMS tools, email marketing software and social media channels
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Confident and professional communicator with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
*Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
*Analytical and logical thinker with good attention to detail
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
*Enthusiastic, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
*Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside core hours when required (with time off in lieu)
*Strong alignment with organisational values and purpose
Location: Central London
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2 days per week on site
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £33,000 per annum
