Job Description:
Totum Partners is working with an international Law firm to recruit a Tax Accountant for their London office. Offering hybrid working and a competitive salary, you will manage personal tax affairs for UK Partners, and the ideal candidate will be working in a Law firm or LLP environment.
Tax Accountant with Global Law firm
Based in Central London (2 days-a-week WFH)
Tax Accountant Duties:
*Provide support to circa 200 UK Partners with personal tax matters and preparation of tax returns
*Support with the creation and maintenance of tax reserves
*Creation of control schedules to and Partner aide memoires
*Monitor information sent to Partners to ascertain if there is any effects on tax returns
*Provide ad hoc support to the Partnership Tax team and Head of UK Tax
*Ensure an up-to-date knowledge of UK tax matters is maintained
Tax Accountant Experience:
*APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENTLY WORKING IN A LEGAL, ACCOUNTANCY, FIRM OR LLP ENVIRONMENT
*CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified
*Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and proven experience in a Professional Services firM
