Cygnet Group are looking for a professional, ambitious and confident Senior Support Worker (Nights) to join our team at Oakhurst Lodge.


You’ll be working 42 Hours a Week, working Nights Only, covering 12-hour shifts on a rota basis, including weekends, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.


The Service:
Oakhurst Lodge is an 8 placement specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.


Your Day-to-Day:
*Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
*Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
*Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
*Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
*Support management in the running of the service
*Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
*Safeguard
*Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.


We’re looking for people who have:
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to be a good team player
*Sensitive an
d intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
*Helping to empower & support service user independence.
*Flexible to work 12-hour shift patterns on a rota basis, including weekends
*NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant care setting is preferable but not essential
