*Join a leading Cornish law firm to assist with Commercial Property work.
*Requirement is for a senior/experienced Commercial Property Solicitor/Lawyer to join the team to provide ad hoc cover on an ad hoc, flexible, part time basis.
*The support is sought to assist the busy team during busy periods, holidays or with specific files, and forging a long term relationship with someone for repeat assistance would be the ideal scenario.
*Initial period of cover required to start circa mid April 2026.
*Fully remote working can be offered, as well as flexible hours.
Position Overview
Our client, an established multi-office high street practice, is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Locum Solicitor/Lawyer to join their team, to take the pressure off in a generally busy period.
As a Commercial Property Locum Solicitor, you will either run your own files or provide support to fee earners on a case by case basis in the background. Work includes commercial property and land, landlord & tenant, option agreements, conditional contracts, agricultural land, development work, leases and licences, etc.
Responsibilities
*Assist with a commercial property caseload.
*Work autonomously and flexibly.
*Provide excellent legal advice to clients with a great eye for detail.
*Be a people person and an excellent team player.
Requirements
*5+ years’ experience in commercial property law.
*Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent.
*Proven ability to work on a standalone basis.
*Strong communication and client care skills.
