Job Title: Accountant (AAT qualified minimum)
Location: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire office 5 days

About the RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-oriented AAT/ACCA-qualified accountant to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare and submit:*Self-assessment tax returns
*Corporation tax returns
*VAT returns
*Manage client payroll accurately and within deadlines
*Ensure compliance with HMRC and Companies House regulations
*Maintain and manage accounting records using:*Sage
*QuickBooks
*Xero
*Provide general accounting support, guidance, and advice to clients
*Handle bookkeeping and financial reporting tasks across multiple client accounts
Requirements*Minimum AAT qualification (ACCA qualified or part-qualified preferred)
*Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
*Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standards
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
Desirable Skills*Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
*Familiarity with additional accounting software
Experience Required*At least 1 year of experience in:*Self-assessment tax returns
*VAT returns
*Payroll
*Bookkeeping
*Accounts preparation and corporation tax returns
Additional Requirements*Fluent in English
*AAT/ACCA certification required
*Ability to reliably commute to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire or relocate prior to starting
