Job Description:
HR Advisor
*Salary: £35,000-£38,000pa
*Location: Kent
*Hours: Full-time, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
*Job Type: Permanent - Hybrid Working (4 days on-site)
Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company who are seeking a proactive and organised HR Advisor to join the team. This role involves providing comprehensive advice and support on various HR issues, processes, and strategies to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation. The ideal candidate will be practical, dedicated, and possess a strong background in Employment Law and HR practices.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Document Drafting: Draft legal documentation including contracts, policies, disciplinary letters, and reports. Create company processes.
*Client Interaction: Respond timely to client queries, chair HR meetings (Investigation, Grievance, Disciplinary, Mediation, Appeal), onboard and train new clients on system such as Breathe HR, and liaise with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
*HR Advice and Support: Review meeting notes, provide HR advice, and support processes such as Redundancy and TUPE.
*Business and Personal Development: Manage secure information handling and filing within Capsule, OneDrive, and MeetGeek. Conduct ISO 9001 documentation and internal audits, attend seminars, events, networking, and training courses. Keep up to date with UK Employment Law and ensure time recording is up to date on Xero projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working within an HR environment.
*Good knowledge of HR and Employment Law practices.
*Proficiency in MS Office packages.
*CIPD Level 3 or higher is preferred but not essential.
*Exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Self-motivated and reliable, with a willingness to travel and work the required hours to achieve targets.
